CLDF is a national charity and the only organisation in the UK dedicated to fighting liver disease in children. Its work lies in three integral areas: innovative medical research, health education for healthcare professionals and the public and support programmes for families and young people affected by liver disease.
We have worked with this inspiring charity since 2004, which began when we were asked to provide trust and grants research, to develop the case for support and to help with the recruitment of a new fundraiser. We also provided mentoring and ongoing support to the fundraising team.
As well as supporting the trusts programme, we have advised on successful DoH Section 64 bids and, more recently, helped develop a legacy campaign and to review the potential for corporate support. We have also advised on contact mapping, major donor research and the development of community fundraising.
Chief Executive Catherine Arkley says: "Wootton George Consulting have played an important role in the development of our fundraising programme. I am delighted with the quality of their work, which is reflected in our on-going relationship with them".
This has been a very wide ranging assignment, with five of our consultants offering their expertise in different fields and at different stages. As a result, we have been able to offer a "one stop shop" for a wide range of fundraising needs.
Our relationship with CLDF is a good example of how we have developed a long-lasting relationship with a charity, responding to their changing needs over the years and drawing on the wide range of skills and experience of our team.
